1. You’ve caught a bad case of ‘DDE’: Double Data Entry.

If your organization is stuck entering the same data into two different systems, you are experiencing a symptom of a larger problem. Double data entry means you have multiple systems that need to access the same data, but utilize it differently. As you know, this process is time-consuming and inefficient and can lead to data inconsistencies and, thus, less than desirable outcomes.

So what’s the cure? An API (Application Progam Interface). APIs act as a bridge, allowing a connected database application to feed data across systems from just one central point. Enter your data once, then rest easy knowing your API solution ensures data accuracy and increases employee efficiency across departments.

2. You have to build your own reports. In Excel. In 2018.

Have you ever compiled data from two or more different sources into a custom spreadsheet? If so, you know what a source of frustration it can be.

Modernize your approach to building reports with an end-to-end ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution: Instead of holding onto data silos and a monstrous Excel file only one person in the office can tame, you can automate and pull the reports you want with the data you need.

3. Unlike wine, software does not get better with age.

When was the last time your software system went through an overhaul? Just think of where your organization was five or 10 years ago. More than likely, a lot has changed. Now, consider where you want your organization to be in the next five or 10 years. Can your software scale with you?

You might be thinking, “Sure, the system isn’t sparkling or new, but it works!” Well, you may have heard the term legacy system, describing software that has become out of touch. If your system doesn’t fit your current or desired operational processes, then label it a legacy system and find a tool that better serves your company’s goals.

4. You bought a system claiming to be an aircraft carrier, but it’s really an inflatable dinghy.

It’s not uncommon for clients to come to us saying they were promised a system that would accomplish everything they wanted and needed, but at the end of the day was only good for a few tasks and completely deficient for the rest.

This happens more often than you would think. When a project like this falls on our doorstep, we keep what you love and build a plan for the rest. We’ll deliver you a system you can be proud of and rely on to run your operations, and provide you with the kind of support and maintenance thereafter to keep your application fresh and functional.
